As educators associations and schools fight over face to face and remote learning, understudies cross country are requesting a seat at the table. Many are organizing walkouts this week.

“We are the ones who have been in this climate consistently. It’s our bodies that we’re putting in danger,” said Kayla Quinlan, a 16-year-old understudy lobbyist at Boston Day and Evening Academy. “Understudies ought to have something to do with what their realizing climate resembles, yet our voices are left out all the time.”
