Prepared tables and a tent for France’s state banquet at the White House

Washington, D.C. In order to showcase their shared love of study and their developing friendship, hostess Jill Biden invited her French counterpart and fellow teacher to a language museum while the tent and tables were being set up for Thursday’s major state dinner at the White House.

At Planet Word, a museum devoted to words and language, Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, and Biden shook hands and declared, “We are friends.

Biden said, “We are buddies,” and then they both said it once more.

The statement of friendship was appropriate for the situation. The United States only invites its closest allies, including France, one of its oldest allies, to a state dinner, which is a great diplomatic honour.

While President Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron were having a meeting at the White House, Biden and Brigitte Macron went on their outing.

As the sun started to set, more than 300 invited guests were scheduled to start showing up at the White House, dressed to impress and eager to say they had a little role in history by attending the first state dinner given by the Bidens.

The menu for the red, white, and blue-themed meal included beef with shallot marmalade, butter-poached Maine lobster, and American cheeses. Orange chiffon cake, roasted pears, and crème fraiche ice cream are served for dessert. For the toasts, American sparkling wine will be provided.

Jill Biden stated on Wednesday that the theme of the dinner was “inspired by the shared colours of our flags, red, white, and blue, as well as our common ideals, liberty and democracy, equality, and togetherness.” These serve as the foundation for our enduring friendship.

On the South Lawn, a heated pavilion is hosting the glam celebration of French-American friendship. Visitors will arrive to the White House on trollies and be seated at a variety of square and rectangular tables with red candles, white irises, the official flower of France, and dark blue silk tablecloths.

Because place settings from the White House china collection cannot leave the executive house, rented dinnerware is being used.

200 live Maine lobsters, according to White House executive chef Cristeta Comerford, were delivered on Tuesday. Some environmental organisations are criticising the White House for eating lobster from Maine, citing worries that the fishing gear used to catch lobsters poses a harm to endangered North Atlantic right whales. One of the main dangers to whales is becoming caught in gear.

Concerns about the environment were not immediately addressed by the White House.
