2nd T20I of the India Tour of New Zealand 2022: Match Preview – India vs. New Zealand. India and New Zealand will play one another in the second Twenty20 International of the ongoing India Tour of New Zealand 2022. On November 20, India and New Zealand will play their second T20 International (Sunday).
The contest will be held at Bay Oval Stadium in Mount Maunganui. Each team is required to play three T20I games. The first Twenty20 International between India and New Zealand had to be cancelled due to rain. The opening T20I game was scheduled to take place at Wellington’s Sky Stadium on November 18 (Friday).
The next two T20I games between India and New Zealand will take place. In November 2021, while New Zealand was on tour in India, India and New Zealand last competed. India and New Zealand played two tests and three Twenty20 games in that series.
India defeated New Zealand 3-0 at home in the T20I series. India also won the Test series against Australia 1-0. When India last faced New Zealand in a T20I series in January 2020, it triumphed 5-0 in the five-match set. Both teams have already competed in 20 T20I matches. India has won 11 games, compared to New Zealand’s nine victories.
