After receiving a third summons on Wednesday, Jacqueline Fernandez joined the inquiry and was interrogated for approximately eight hours on the extortion case. In the 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the Delhi Police has called Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez for questioning before the Economic Offenses Wing on Monday at 11 am.
After receiving a third summons on Wednesday, Jacqueline joined the inquiry and was interrogated for approximately eight hours on the extortion case. Pinky Irani, who was allegedly paid in crores of rupees for the role of introducing Jacqueline to the scam artist, was with her.
The alleged fraud committed by Chandrashekhar from inside Rohini prison is currently being looked into independently by the Delhi Police and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED is looking into money laundering accusations, while the police’s economic crimes unit is looking into claims of fraud and corruption inside of prison
Additionally, the Delhi Police said on Thursday that they had taken a Ducati Scrambler motorcycle from Prashant, who serves as Fernandez’s manager.
“On Prashant’s birthday, Chandrashekhar gave him the bike. Chandrashekhar left the bike keys with him, according to Prashant, despite his refusal to accept it. To get close to Jacqueline Fernandez was the goal. However, based on his own admission, he did not do anything to assist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. He said he had never used the bicycle. He requested Chandrashekhar to pick it up as it was still parked. The bike has been confiscated today, according to special police commissioner Ravinder Yadav (crime).
Delhi police on Jacqueline Fernandez
Sukesh would attempt to sway the Bollywood actresses, according to Special Commissioner of Police (EOW) Ravindra Yadav, who informed news agency ANI that Sukesh has a vast amount of properties that he obtained through extortion.
Detectives from the Delhi Police had last week summoned Nora Fatehi, her brother-in-law Mehboob, also known as Bobby Khan, and Pinky Irani for interrogation.
Irani is the individual who, at Chandrashekhar’s request, went to Fatehi to ask for presents. Last year, she received a call to attend an event at Chandrashekar’s wife Lena Maria’s studio in Chennai.
In the event, Fatehi was given the choice between a BMW and a participation fee. During interrogation, Fatehi said that she directed them to send the present to her brother-in-law Mehboob alias Bobby instead of accepting it.
Mehboob, a Moroccan native, works in the Bollywood business and resides primarily in Mumbai. In addition, he was the director of the Sunny Leone-starring film “Leela ek Paheli.”
