Police in Noida detained YouTuber Gaurav Taneja for throwing a birthday party at the Noida metro station. Following that, he became a Twitter trend.
Gaurav Taneja, a YouTuber-pilot, was detained by Noida police on Saturday for throwing a birthday party near the Sector 51 Metro station on the Aqua Line in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. However, there has been no update on his bail. Gaurav Taneja, popularly known as ‘Flying Beast,’ has been trending on Twitter in the hours following his arrest.
According to officials from Noida Sector 49 police station, “YouTuber Gaurav Taneja organised his birthday celebration within Sector 51 of Aqua Line.” Tokens were being issued beneath the station, causing long lines and a traffic bottleneck. Metro riders were also having issues, and there was a stampede-like scenario. When the police learned about the incident, they arrived on the scene. They stated that they had no knowledge about the party.”
“Gaurav was originally held and afterwards arrested under Section 144 of the CrPC,” the officers claimed. In addition, a FIR has been lodged against him. He was arrested in accordance with sections 188 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).”
Gaurav’s wife, pilot-YouTube YouTuber Ritu Rathee Taneja, had previously published information on Instagram as she organised a celebration for him. She posted on her Instagram Stories in both Hindi and English, “For Gaurav’s birthday party, we shall be limited by the maximum capacity of a metro provided by NMRC. We will, however, meet everyone. I’m doing everything by myself, so please excuse me if I make any mistakes. Keep sending your love.”
She also shared a video in which she informed her followers that she will be seeing them in the afternoon. “1.30 at Sector-51, Noida metro station, in front of Hira sweets!” she wrote. Ritu also shared a selfie of herself and her kid on their way to the metro station. She stated in her most recent Instagram picture, “Hello everyone! Due to personal problems, we must cancel Gaurav’s birthday party.”
