The BJP is gearing up for a series of programmes aimed at expanding UP’s ‘Mission 2024’ across the country. This includes a national convention on 11 and 12 August in Lucknow to draw up a road map for the Centre in the run up to 2024, the 100th anniversary of India’s Independence .BJP to expand UP’s ‘Mission 2024’.

BJP to expand UP’s ‘Mission 2024

The BJP on Monday announced the launch of a massive campaign for the development of Uttar Pradesh, popularly referred to as ‘Mission 2024’, in Ayodhya on June 16.

The party is also preparing to celebrate a year-long silver jubilee celebrations of the Ayodhya temple. The party will also launch a ‘Mission Chauraha’ across the state to take development to the doorsteps of the people

The BJP will concentrate its efforts in the East UP area. Party candidates have lost the Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Ghazipur, Ghosi, Jaunpur, Lalganj, Rae Bareli, and Shravasti seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. The BJP once more failed to establish its presence in the Azamgarh, Ghazipur, and Ambedkar Nagar districts during the 2022 U.P. assembly elections. The saffron brigade received much-needed comfort from the BJP candidate’s success in the Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election as they prepared its cadre for the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

Dharampal Singh informed the party officials that the government, in addition to the organisation, played a significant part in the party’s electoral success. “Both Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center helped the BJP win both the Lok Sabha and the assembly elections. Modi and Yogi’s efforts have made the party unbeatable in the election.

After the BJP government’s landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh, there is a buzz about the party’s Mission 2024 to win all the Lok Sabha seats from the state. The BJP had won 71 of 80 seats from Uttar Pradesh in the 2014 Lok Sabha election. BJP chief Amit Shah has coined the slogan ‘2024: Ram Rajya in UP, Narendra Modi Sarkar at Centre’.
